Trung Do is the vice president of strategy and operations at Mass General Brigham Data Science Office (DSO). Do’s team leads strategic efforts focused on convening Mass General Brigham’s clinical and research expertise, the DSO’s productization know-how, and industry’s go-to-market capabilities to grow and scale engagements, onboard new collaborators, and selectively launch strategic business units. Prior to joining the DSO, Do served as the vice president of business development at Mass General Brigham Innovation. His background includes more than 20 years of experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, and operations. Prior to Mass General Brigham, he served as the director of operations at PharMetrics: a venture-backed start-up providing healthcare market insights to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and health plan sectors of the market. He began his career in healthcare and life sciences as a consultant with Arthur Andersen and Boston Biomedical Consultants.
Do served as the president of GeneInsight, Inc., a company of Mass General Brigham before it was acquired by Sunquest Information Systems. He currently serves on the scientific advisory board of the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and as an advisor to Brigham and Women’s Hospital Trauma Imaging Research and Innovation Center. Do holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts from Boston University and Bachelor of Science from University of California at Irvine.
