We would like to congratulate our Director of Machine Learning, Christopher Bridge, for being featured in Mass General Hospital‘s “Advances in Motion”, regarding his recent publication.
In this article, we describe an AI based system for accurate and reliable quantification and characterization of muscle and adipose tissue from routine chest CT scans. This broadens the applicability of our previous approach using abdominal CT to a larger number of routine scans, and provides biomarkers that may be used to stratify risk of complications for lobectomy for lung cancer.
